The collaborative project of CASE Belarus and Scientific-Research Institute at the Ministry of Economy of Belarus called “Social and economic development of regions in the context of national competitiveness’ increase” was successfully finished in July 2012. The project was administrated by the Eurasia Foundation and financed by the USAID.
ENPI — Costs and Benefits of Labour Mobility between the EU and the Eastern Partnership Partner Countries (2011-2012)
In 2011-2012 CASE Belarus was a subcontracted member of consortium for EuropeAid project titled “ENPI - Costs and Benefits of Labour Mobility between the EU and the Eastern Partnership Partner Countries”.
In 2011-2012 CASE Belarus was operating a research capacity building project aimed at enhancing of EU-Belarus economic relations studies.
CASE Belarus together with another 19 partners has launched 3-year project titled "ACL - Amber Coast Logistics" under Baltic Sea Region program. The project’s main objective is to improve accessibility and logistic processes both via land and sea to strengthen economic ties between emerging countries like Belarus, Russia or Ukraine and EU member states within the BSR.
In 2011 CASE Belarus was operating the project titled „The support of private passenger transportation companies by activisation of passenger transport associations“ within Polish Aid 2011 programme. The aim of the project was to enhance development of private passenger transportation services in Belarus.
In 2011 CASE Belarus has been operating the project titled „The support of small privatization in Belarus by facilitating the access of small and medium entreprises to the commercial property “ within Polish Aid 2011 programme. The aim of the project was to enhance development of private sector in Belarus, specifically, small and medium entreprises (SME), by facilitating their access to unused state-owned commercial property objects.
The project titled „The analytical and technical support of monetary policy aimed at assuring macroeconomic stabilization as an essential condition to carry out market reforms in Belarus“ has been implemented by CASE Belarus in 2010. The aim of the project was the analytical and technical support of National Bank of Belarus, the main institution that is responsible for monetary policy, in order to keep the macroeconomic stability both in the short- and long-term.
In 2010 CASE Belarus took part in the project titled “Enhancing Research Centres’ Activities in Belarus”, funded by the grant of the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Support Programme for NGOs in the Baltic Sea Region. The project was carried out in partnership with Eastern European Studies Centre (EESC, Vilnius, Lithuania) and Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies (BISS, Vilnius, Lithuania).
The project titled „City Size Distribution Dynamics in Transition Economies. A Cross-Country Investigation“ sponsored by CERGE-EI Foundation, Prague was operated by CASE Belarus in 2009-2010. The study was a joint research paper by C. Necula (Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, Romania), M.Ibragimov (Tashkent State University of Economics, Uzbekistan) and U.Valetka (CASE Belarus).
In 2009 CASE Belarus was operating the grant of Polish Ministry of Foreing Affairs titled “Fostering private participation in provision of public transportation services in Belarus”. The aim of the project was to create and present the concept of privatization of the public transport services and infrastructure in Belarus.
