CASE Belarus participated in the 8th Annual Assembly of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum

CASE Belarus for the first time became a delegate to the 8th Annual Assembly of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (November 28-29, 2016, Brussels) with the observer status. CASE Belarus joined the 5th Working Group of the Forum called “Social & Labour Policies and Social Dialogue”. Together with the members of this Working Group from Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine, during 2016 CASE Belarus implemented the re-granting project "Vulnerable Employment in Machinery in Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine: Setting a Common Policy Agenda"

Registration for KEF 2016 is open

The 3rd edition of Kastryčnicky Ekanamičny Forum (KEF) will take place on November 3-4 in Minsk. KEF is a new open platform for a professional dialogue on Belarus’ sustainable development within the context of global economic development. KEF was established by the Research Center of the Institute for Privatization and Management in association with the Belarus Economic Research and Outreach Center (BEROC) and CASE Belarus.

The second workshop of the “Mapping out vulnerable sectors in the Eastern Partnership countries”

The second workshop of the "Mapping out vulnerable sectors in the Eastern Partnership countries", sponsored by the International Visegrad Fund is to be held on 17th September in Chisinau. The workshop is organized by the IDIS Viitorul, Moldova and the Institute of World Economics, Center for Economic and Regional Studies of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. During the event we present the first findings of the Machine Industry Report on Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova. The second panel will provide a stakeholder outlook and an explore the applicability of Visegrad experiences in the sectors.

Conference in Minsk: Monetary policy and macroeconomic stability

The aim of the conference was to present the results of the project "The analytical and technical support of monetary policy aimed at assuring macroeconomic stabilization as an essential condition to carry out market reforms in Belarus" in the form of analytical publications and policy-papers as well as generate public discussion on the role of monetary policy in achieving macroeconomic stability in the Belarusian economy. The conference was conducted jointly by CASE Belarus and IPM Research Centre, Dec 9, 2010, Minsk, Belarus.
