New CASE Belarus policy paper (in Russian, download pdf) is focused on the economic effects which brings the orphanhood prevention programme realized by SOS Children’s Village. Econometric analysis has shown a strong correlation between SOS Children’s Village activity and the decrease in number of orphans in 2 districts of Minsk region. The policy paper enumerates main best practices in orphanhood prevention field and provides recommendations for Belarusian policy makers.
